What began as a vision in 2021 is now a permanent fixture: The European Peace Ride will celebrate its 5th edition in 2025 - and will set an impressive example of cohesion, sport and history.

As part of Chemnitz's application to become European Capital of Culture 2025, the idea was born to revive the legendary International Peace Tour.

Four years later, the European Peace Ride has firmly established itself - a socially relevant project that connects people, overcomes borders and carries a message of peace.What began as a one-off event has developed into a movement that lives on - with every turn of the pedal, with every encounter, with every ride together for a peaceful future.

The European Peace Ride is not a race - but a shared ride for peace. 250 participants start together, ride as a closed peloton and reach the finish together. Each stage covers around 200 km with around 2,500 meters of altitude, driven at an average speed of 28 km/h. A sporting challenge that focuses on team spirit, endurance and the idea of ​​solidarity.
